When we lose a child, we lose all our hopes and dreams for the future. A big part of ourselves has been taken away. We not only grieve the loss of our child, but also the loss of any future grandchildren too. All those wonderful moments we could have / should have, shared. . . .

When we lose a parent, we lose our connection to the past. We start blaming ourselves for all the times we weren't there for them and could have / should have been. All those things we wish we had said......

In bereavement we torture ourselves, bring to light all our inadequecies and search for the one and only thing that can help to relieve our pain......contact with our lost loved one.
Just to be able to hold them one more time, to be able to tell them how much we really do care, how much we love, and miss them......
