On Feb 22nd a violent auto accident suddenly claimed the lives of a 6 yr old little girl and her grandmother. I am that little girl's mother.
Heather was my only child and very best friend. She and my mom are both greatly missed. I would like to thank ALL who showed their support to me and my family at this very difficult time.
The reason I am writing you today is to ask for your assistance in honoring Heather's memory on the anniversary of her 7th birthday. Heather would have been 7 on July 10th.
In her memory I would like to ask that everyone with a special child in their life take a minute on Thursday July 10th and HUG YOUR (A) CHILD ! Therefore making July 10th honorary "Hug your child day" in memory of Heather.
I am trying to "celebrate" her life as best I can on her special day. Instead of wallowing in my grief I would like to do something positive in her memory. My hope is that every parent will take a minute to think about just how precious their child/children are and how quickly we can lose them.
This is also my way of "sending" a hug to Heather on her birthday.
